She went away
You made my day
I lost my way
She let me stay
You washed away evidence
Much to my surprise
How does that not make sense?
I could see the ducks, the Japanese fishes
Swimming in the fountain
I don’t know what’s in store for me
Eating giant peaches
In the middle of nowhere
I wonder if we met before my dear
Somewhere in a nightmare
She returned my smile
Then we shook hands by the river
She liked my accent
And I loved her voice
