As the pleasure is goldmine, the picture that adorns the cover of the brand new EP could have been taken in Morocco in 1967. But it didn't happen that way. The legendary French photographer Renaud Monfourny snapped it on one glorious spring day of the roaring 2020s, in the midday sun, somewhere in the heart of Paris (Saint Paul!). Then Pascal Blua (the renowned graphic designer who's been working with Rocabois for 4 years now) imagined this James Bond-like cover art. Three new songs, one shaman-like chant, a brilliant recreation by Le SuperHomard AND the printed lyrics: so many good reasons to surrender to The Pleasure Is Goldmine EP on CD!

Watch the seasons come and go Watch them flow Watch the seasons come and go When you're tickling the ivories No one there to bother Mother Nature It's a sight to behold you'd better hold your breath Watch them flow Things are meant to be told we'd rather go ahead See them glow Watch them flow See them grow Watch them come and go Catching the parade of the houseboats Watch the swans and see the ducks doing their morning routine When it's still foggy above the river Seine I want to spend my life with you Take you into my arms every morning  When the sun comes up Till the sun beats down

I'd like to make my exit with panache
Bright underpants to be shown on the coroner's table
 Please
Everybody's got something to hide I've been under treatment
 But now it's done
I'm healed
Be sure that I'll come over
 What's your take on
 This outrageous outfit I wore?
Please Goddess let me lie on the floor To master an appearance at the awards
"The Bird, The Fly & The Helicopter"
Our time is up, the party's over
Stick to your guns The award goes to Virginia Woodstone-Grey
For the most impressive body of work that anyone who's worked with her
Might have noticed yeah, haven’t you yeah? I'd like to make my exit with panache
Please find my passport in the pocket of my Italian jacket
 Please
I'm sitting singing songs for everyone I've been under treatment
 But now I'm good
I'm healed
Be sure that I'll come over
 What's your take on
"I wonder if you can picture more"?
Those funny little things on the shore Open your eyes
 Mother
 Open your heart to me
I don't care if the cupboard's bare
I don't mind if your beloved dog is sick
I don't give a damn about your brand new car
Is it grey? Is it white? Is it black? Is it shiny?
I sing this song in English cause I like it
I'll sing in Italian and I'm sure you will love it
Or even in German but you and I won't get it
 I'd rather sing in French
 Hoping you'd understand
 What I really meant
Do I really need to scream?
 Open your eyes
Mother
 Open your heart to me
Only a pocketful of minutes or years ahead of us

Childhood is a foreign country And I’m glad I still have my passport You should expect the return of the mid-afternoon Mystic Men They used to congregate Every Friday Never to be seen again Where were their fathers? Where were their brothers? They all went missing Some of them were loved by their mothers, their wives, their sisters But the kids they don’t live here anymore 2000 miles from home They speak another tongue Flags are flying It’s raining crowns What a lovely ride we had Crazy egos Hung up on a dream That very same dream Childhood is a foreign country And I’m glad I still have my parents The mystic men would be chanting and getting high Little did they know they were meant to love each other You should explain why he took his own life Instead of becoming The finest rock’n’roll star I lie awake Staring at the stars While you're looking at me I dissolve into your eyes Crazy egos who come to blows They’re so full of themselves Because we’re hung up on the same dream We share the very same sadness weakness loneliness Time is a friend of mine Flags are flying it’s raining crowns what a lovely crowd you are! Crazy egos about to blow they’re so full of themselves Because we’re hung up on the same dream We share the very same shyness sweetness loneliness

Brain Cells 01:38
I miss my imaginary Mum Tomorrow was written in your brain cells Thought and designed by others Don’t let them choose for you Catch your destiny Trying not to lose touch with reality Do we share the same mindset or time zone and perceptions? Sometimes I wonder

Though we've been trying A zillion times I've been losing sleep I can't concentrate When I'm on my own You destroyed my self-esteem In the blink of an eye I would have loved to love you But it was not to be Babies making babies They happen not to love Sometimes Forever is composed of nows Complete strangers We never got along fine As far as I can remember The longest dream I've had I would have loved to love you I really would My nervous system is falling to pieces One too many arguments I'm living for a better life I'm leaving for a second time
